Calgary Scientific Medical Group of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, a business unit of Calgary Scientific Inc., has received 510(k) FDA clearance for its ResolutionMD medical visualization software. The system -- developed in conjunction with Foothills Medical Center in the same city -- allows physicians and researchers to visualize images from CT, PET and other scanning systems in 2- and 3-D on standard PCs.
