Chi Mei Optoelectronics Selects Pixelworks Chips

Pixelworks Inc. of Tualatin, Ore., a provider of video and pixel-processing technology, announced that Chi Mei Optoelectronics (CMO) has selected its PW9800 line of co-processors with DNX® MotionEngine™ technology for CMO's latest line of ecofriendly LCD panels in 37-, 42-, 47- and 55-in. sizes. CMO is a provider of thin-film transistor liquid crystal displays and a supplier for the flat panel TV market.
