Coherent Board Chairman to Head Advanced Energy
Advanced Energy Industries Inc.’s board of directors has appointed Dr. Garry Rogerson as its chief executive officer and board member, effective Aug. 4.
Dr. Hans Betz, CEO since 2005, will remain at the company as an adviser until Dec. 31.
Rogerson is chairman of the board at Coherent Inc., where he has served on the board since 2005.
Advanced Energy provides power and control technologies for thin-film manufacturing and high-growth solar power generation.
