Coherent Inc. Acquires Ondax

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Oct. 29, 2018 — Coherent Inc. has completed the acquisition of Ondax, a producer of volume holographic gratings (VHGs), wavelength-stabilized diode lasers, and THz-Raman laser systems.

The acquisition expands Coherent’s portfolio of components, lasers, and laser systems.

Coherent requests that its clients continue to interact with their established Ondax contacts as the company integrates Ondax into its global team. Coherent assures its clients that it is committed to timely and clear communication as it moves through the integration process.
