JEOL USA of Peabody, Mass., and the College of Microscopy, the education division of the McCrone Group of Westmont, Ill., have strengthened their partnership to improve the study of microscopy. The company will provide a new low-vacuum scanning electron microscope (SEM) to the college for use in basic and advanced training and also will have one of its staff scientists teach SEM courses there.
