Company Rebrands
Point Source of Hamble, UK, a member of the Qioptiq
Group, has changed its name to Qioptiq, effective immediately. The decision is part
of the group’s strategy to operate under a single brand worldwide. Acquired
by Qioptiq in 2008, the UK company develops high-value flexible laser technology
for the precision instrumentation used in biotechnology research and semiconductor
fabrication. Qioptiq will remain in Hamble, where its specialist engineering, manufacturing
and test facility is based.
