Test and measurement solutions provider Anritsu Corp. has signed a distribution agreement with Comtec Cable Accessories Ltd., a provider of components, equipment and services for the telecommunications and data communications industries.

Under the terms of the new agreement, Anritsu’s industry-leading test equipment will now also be available in the U.K. through Comtec.

“Anritsu continues to invest heavily in the growth and success of our distribution channel,” said Steve Wilding, sales director for western Europe, the Middle East and Africa. “We are delighted that this agreement with Comtec will see Anritsu’s range of leading test and measurement solutions become part of their outstanding portfolio of products, backed by their highest level of customer service and technical support.”

The Anritsu solutions offered through Comtec in the U.K. will include a range of optic, wireless and radio frequency handheld products that meet the test and measurement needs of the installation and maintenance market. “We are thrilled to be able to represent Anritsu here in the U.K. We aim to provide our customers with solutions that ensure they are able to deploy and maintain networks quickly and efficiently, and we believe adding these selected Anritsu products to our offering will help us achieve that goal,” said Nick Andrews, brand manager at Comtec.

As part of the agreement, Comtec will provide U.K. customers with sales support from their offices in Huntingdon, England; Glasgow, Scotland; and Sunbury-on-Thames, England.
