The range of capability includes optics, lasers, opto-mechanical hardware, electronics, positioning, and vibration isolation that can be incorporated into custom designed or build-to-print assemblies. The company's worldwide engineering manufacturing, and procurement expertise, combined with an extensive inventory of off-the-shelf optics, allow Melles Griot to meet its customers photonics requirements. With JIT and dock-to-stock delivery programs, Melles Griot can package photonics modules for direct delivery to the clean room or the factory floor.

Melles Griot makes sure that its photonic modules are aligned, tested, and will plug directly into its customers' assemblies. Designs range from simple mounted lenses to complex assemblies that integrate lasers, multi-element lenses, and electronics. Custom-configured nanopositioning systems, vibration isolation, and production workstations are also available.
