CyberOptics Announces $1.9M Order

MINNEAPOLIS, March 3, 2016 — CyberOptics Corp., a developer of high-precision sensing solutions, has announced a $1.9 million order for its SQ3000 automated optical inspection system.

The company reported that since the start of last year’s fourth quarter, follow-on orders totaling $4.7 million for the 3D SQ3000 automated optical inspection system have been placed by a key customer.

The SQ3000 system maximizes region of interest and line utilization with 3D multiview sensors that enable fast 3D inspection. Multireflection suppression technology is used with sophisticated 3D algorithms to produce microscopic image quality at production speeds.

The order is scheduled for shipment late in the first quarter of 2016.

CyberOptics’ sensors are used in general purpose metrology, 3D scanning, surface mount technology and semiconductor markets.
