Oxxius.jpgThe SLIM-473 blue continuous-wave diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) laser from Oxxius SA emits up to 50 mW at 473 nm. Featuring a monolithic resonator, it offers a transverse mode beam with M2 <1.2, ultralow noise of <0.2% rms and a pointing stability of <10 μrad over 3 °C. It is available in either an OEM version designed for systems integration or in a plug-and-play model for laboratory use. The single-frequency version is suitable for Raman spectroscopy, holography and interferometry.

holography
Holography is a technique used to capture and reconstruct three-dimensional images using the principles of interference and diffraction of light. Unlike conventional photography, which records only the intensity of light, holography records both the intensity and phase information of light waves scattered from an object. This allows the faithful reproduction of the object's three-dimensional structure, including its depth, shape, and texture. The process of holography typically involves the...
raman spectroscopy
Raman spectroscopy is a technique used in analytical chemistry and physics to study vibrational, rotational, and other low-frequency modes in a system. Named after the Indian physicist Sir C.V. Raman who discovered the phenomenon in 1928, Raman spectroscopy provides information about molecular vibrations by measuring the inelastic scattering of monochromatic light. Here is a breakdown of the process: Incident light: A monochromatic (single wavelength) light, usually from a laser, is...
