Wayne D. Pasco is joining the board of directors of Advanced Optics Electronics Inc.. Pasco currently is CEO of UNAXIS.   . . .   Andreas Herren was appointed COO of Heptagon effective Jan. 1, 2002. He will be based at the company's production facilities in Zurich.   . . . Photodigm appointed Jim Pooladdej as vice president of product engineering and Duane Carter as vice president of process engineering. Pooladdej will direct the design and development of Photodigm's optical products, including its surface emitting GO Laser. Carter will oversee process development and manufacturing at the company's headquarters in Dallas.
