Franz Sumnitsch, vice chairman of the board of SEZ Holding Ltd. and CEO of the SEZ Group, received the European Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI) Award for 2002 at the annual SEMICON Europa Exposition held recently in Munich. Sumnitsch is recognized for developing a single-wafer wet-processing technology for semiconductor manufacturing.
