Opto Speed, a developer and manufacturer of indium phosphide (InP)-based opto-electronic components for communications, test and measurement, medical and defense markets, announced it has made a distribution agreement with Broadtechs Electronics Co. Ltd., a Chinese distributor of electronic and optoelectronic components and subassemblies for telecom equipment, consumer electronics and information-technology appliances manufacturers. Broadtechs Electronics will distribute Opto Speed's high-speed lasers, photodetectors, optical front-ends, semiconductor optical amplifiers and superluminescent light-emitting diodes.
