Dalsa Corp., a Waterloo, Ontario, maker of silicon chips and digital camera components, announced it has received an order for high-performance CCD image sensor chips from Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions, of Madison, Ala. The order, worth $2.2 million, will be delivered over the next 15 months. Intergraph will use the chips in its Z/I imaging digital mapping camera, which it sells to photogrammetry organizations for planning, engineering, surveying and mapping.    . . .    Firstsight Vision, a distributor of industrial and scientific vision components in the UK and Ireland, announced it has joined a new group of companies headed by Puchheim, Germany-based Stemmer Imaging GmbH, a supplier of image processing components. The Stemmer Imaging Group, founded on July 1, includes Stemmer Imaging Schweiz AG, of Switzerland, which was formed after the group's acquisition of the image processing unit of Swiss automation company Omni Ray. Firstsight said the move will enable it to consolidate stock and ordering offer more products at a lower cost and enhance its technical support, and that it will introduce a number of service enhancements, including an online "knowledge base" and access to product pricing and availability. Firstsight management and staff at its Tongham office will remain unchanged, and customer service will continue to be handled via its UK operation.
