Daylight Solutions Inc.
Daylight Solutions Inc. of San Diego has closed a $15 million
Series C equity financing round with Northrop Grumman Corp., the lead investor,
and several of the company’s existing investors. The financing will allow
the company to develop a family of quantum cascade laser-based products based on
a modular, open source, core technology platform, meeting the requirements of demanding
environments in defense as well as commercial markets. The company’s products
address molecular detection and imaging applications that benefit from mid- and
long-wave infrared illumination.
