NEWARK, Del., Oct. 25, 2016 — Instrumentation developer DeNovix Inc. has donated lab equipment to Delaware Technology Park’s new 10,000-sq-ft laboratory incubator.

"As a world-class supplier of specialty instruments, DeNovix is a welcome collaborator for [email protected] tenants,” said Mike Bowman, president of the Delaware Technology Park. “Access to state-of-the-art instrumentation enables young companies to grow and scale more quickly.”

Located on the University of Delaware’s STAR campus, the [email protected] incubator is home to twelve promising science-based entrepreneurial companies. DeNovix donated the DS-11 FX+, a system that combines absorbance and fluorescence technologies to deliver a flexible system for nucleic acid and protein quantification.

“We didn’t want our fellow Delaware-based companies to have to compromise anything about their research and technology commercialization efforts,” said Fred Kielhorn, CEO of DeNovix. “Our instrument is easy to learn, extremely sensitive and highly flexible. Since DNA, RNA and protein quantification are core to so many life science workflows, the DS-11 FX+ will help these companies for years to come.”

DeNovix develops, manufactures and sells laboratory equipment to meet the demands of life science research.
