GRENOBLE, France, April 2, 2018 — The Sofradir Group, a provider of imaging technologies, has appointed Jean-François Delepau as the new chairman of its board of directors.

Jean-François Delepau Delepau is the former managing director of ULIS, a Sofradir company that develops thermal imaging sensors. In his new role, he will oversee all defense, aerospace and commercial market operations of ULIS, Sofradir and U.S.-based Sofradir-EC.

“Jean-François’ vision, dedication to excellence and the wealth of his experience and career-long achievements fully equip him to take over the reins of the Sofradir Group,” said a representative of the board. “He has the board’s complete confidence in continuing to create growth opportunities. His objectives are to reinforce the high quality and price competitiveness of the group’s products and improve their time-to-market, whilst accelerating innovation within each company.”

Delepau previously worked in various electronics and components companies, as well as technology and management consultant groups. He graduated from École Polytechnique and Télécom ParisTech and holds an MBA from INSEAD.
