Deloitte & Touche has named Digital Optics Corp. to its Fast 500 program, a ranking of the 500 fastest-growing technology companies in the US. Rankings are based on revenues over the five-year period from 1993 to 1997.
During that period, Digital Optics enjoyed a 145 percent compound annual growth rate. The company designs, develops and manufactures diffractive optics, silicon benches and integrated micro-optical systems for OEM markets. To qualify for the honor, companies must have had revenues of at least $50,000 in 1993, have been headquartered in the US and produced technology or manufactured a technology product.
The winners have been invited to attend a conference April 30 to May 1 at the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix. The conference will address issues that are relevant to technology companies experiencing rapid growth.
