Dover Acquires Solaris Laser SA
DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., Aug. 24, 2020 — Dover Corp. has acquired Solaris Laser SA, the Warsaw, Poland-based supplier of laser coding and marking systems. Solaris Laser joins the Markem-Imaje business unit, a global manufacturer of product identification and traceability systems. Markem-Imaje is part of Dover’s Imaging and Identification segment.
The acquisition increases Markem-Imaje’s ability to meet demand for laser coding technologies. Solaris develops fiber, UV, and CO2 laser systems for coding in industrial and packaging applications.
Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
