EMVA Names Scheel Business Development Manager

The European Machine Vision Association (EMVA) has named Oliver Scheel business development manager. Part of Scheel’s role will be the expansion of exchange among industry participants, both inside and outside the association, as well as the dialogue with vision-tech users, who will be increasingly involved in EMVA work in the future, according to the association.

Scheel spent 13 years as commercial manager EMEA for the publisher of the magazine inspect – World of Vision. He served for three years as sales director for a publishing house in Stuttgart, Germany, and most recently held the position of marketing director at an institution that conducts research projects in the field of artificial intelligence and other areas.
