EXFO Receives 2014 Portable FOTE Leadership Award

Frost & Sullivan has awarded EXFO Inc. the 2014 Global Market Share Leadership Award for its work in the fiber-optic test equipment (FOTE) market.

EXFO received the award after reporting a market share of 38.2 percent in 2013 in overall portable FOTE. The company has focused on portable optical time domain reflectometers (OTDR), and on fiber inspection solutions and optical spectrum analyzers. Its intelligent optical link mapper (iOLM) has expanded to cover all common fiber applications, including FTTx last mile, FTTH/PON, Metro, CDWM, and FTTA and data centers.

EXFO also specializes in products such as power meters, light sources, inspection probes, OTDRs, dispersion analyzers and optical spectrum analyzers.
