Edmund Optics Announces Promotions
BARRINGTON, N.J., Aug. 12, 2014 — Edmund Optics Inc. has named new directors of its imaging, optics and sales units.
Gregory Hollows, former director of machine vision technology at Edmund Optics, will lead the company’s imaging unit. He has 15 years of experience in the industry and is past president of the AIA, the world’s largest machine vision trade group. His goal is to formalize Edmund’s imaging product portfolio and growth strategy.
Former sales director Anthony Artigliere will now lead the optics unit. He has 25 years of photonics industry experience. “With his longstanding exposure to optical design, fabrication, coating, assembly and metrology, we are counting on his effective leadership over the optics business unit,” said Edmund President Samuel Sadoulet.
Todd Sierer, the company’s former director of social media and development, will direct sales and marketing efforts in the Americas.
