Edmund Optics Promotes Mulliner to CFO

BARRINGTON, N.J., April 1, 2013 — Optical components manufacturer Edmund Optics has promoted executive vice president of finance Jason Mulliner to chief financial officer.

Mulliner has held several operations positions within the company; as director of product development, he advanced products from concept to distribution. He has worked closely with engineering, purchasing and inventory control to develop a synergy among the company’s major operations, it said.

He has spent time in Europe managing projects and is the technical author of more than 20 published articles on a variety of topics, including optical fiber inspection techniques and infrared measuring techniques using PC-based software.
