Elliot Scientific Distributes Gamma Scientific in Europe

HARPENDEN, England, Oct. 8, 2014 — Elliot Scientific, a supplier of laser, fiber optic and other systems, is now distributing within the U.K. and Ireland a range of light and optical test and measurement systems made by Gamma Scientific.

Elliot Scientific also offers optometer equipment from UDT Instruments, a division of Gamma Scientific. UDT is a provider of photometers, lux meters, luminance meters, photodetectors and illuminance meters for photometric and radiometric testing applications.

Gamma Scientific, based in San Diego, Calif., designs and manufactures laboratory-grade light measurement instruments and systems such as spectroradiometers, spectrometers, spectrophotometers, goniophotometers and thin-film measurement systems.

The company’s instruments and equipment are used in a variety of applications, including testing of LEDs, lamps, light fittings and luminaires; lasers and fiber optics; night vision equipment and displays; and the single-sided inspection of transmissive element surfaces.
