EnPro Industries Acquiring Alluxa

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 28, 2020 — EnPro Industries is acquiring optical coatings and filters company Alluxa in a deal worth $255 million. The transaction, which is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals, is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2020. Additional details will be provided during EnPro’s third-quarter earnings call.

The deal will enhance EnPro’s presence in several of the technology company’s key service areas, including industrial technology, the life sciences, and semiconductors. Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Santa Rosa, Calif., Alluxa has two locations in Calif. and more than 75 employees. The senior management team at Alluxa will continue with the business following the deal's closing.
