The FDA has granted Home Skinovations Ltd. of Yokneam, Israel, a producer of light-based and laser products for aesthetic devices, clearance for its Silk’n device to be used for home-based removal of unwanted hair, under the direction of a physician. The device, which uses proprietary home pulsed-light technology, was tested in several medical centers in North America and Israel.
