Facility Expansion
Lumenera Corp. of Ottawa has announced a 70
percent expansion of its manufacturing facility to meet market demand for its custom
and OEM cameras and services. An increase in orders drove the need for the larger
plant, which will enable a boost in camera production of 23 percent and a further
reduction in the already short turnaround times, the company said. Lumenera manufactures
and develops high-performance digital cameras and custom imaging solutions for the
scientific, industrial and surveillance markets.
