Finisar Corp., a fiber optic subsystems and components provider, announced the appointment of Michael C. Child to its board of directors. He will serve on the compensation committee.
Employed by TA Associates Inc. since 1982, Child currently serves as the managing director of the Boston-based private equity firm. He has been a board member for more than 20 companies, including Finisar, serving previously from 1998 to 2005.
