Travis Merrill has joined Flir Systems Inc. as senior vice president and chief marketing officer. Merrill will develop and lead the company’s global marketing and brand building initiatives. He most recently served as vice president of marketing for Samsung Electronics America. Previously, he held leadership positions at Covad Communications and US West (now CenturyLink). Merrill received a bachelor’s degree from Wabash College and holds master’s degrees in telecommunications from the University of Colorado Boulder and business administration from Harvard Business School.
