GigOptix Names Sales Director in China
Lake Qin has been appointed director of sales in China for GigOptix Inc., a fabless supplier of semiconductor and optical components for high-speed information streaming.
Qin, with more than 15 years of communications experience, will oversee revenue growth in China for all GigOptix’s product lines and will strengthen its customer relationships in the region. Based in Shenzhen, he will be supported by the company’s regional applications team and distributors, said Dr. Raluca Dinu, general manager and vice president of the optics and RF product line.
Qin previously was a sales account manager at Semtech Corp. He joined Semtech through its acquisition of Gennum Corp. Before that, he was a sales manager at Lestina International.
