Glass Firm Announces US Inventory Capacity
Glass substrate and fabrication service provider S.I. Howard Glass Co. Inc. has announced a 20,000-sq-ft glass inventory capacity at the company’s U.S. facility.
The company features brands such as Schott, Hoya, Corning, Pilkington, Glaverbel, Guardian, Saint-Gobain and Euroglas. As a domestic provider of flat glass substrates, Howard Glass delivers custom flat glass products, instruments and parts.
In-house services available include glass fabrication such as computer numerical control milling and edging using Haas Automation and Blanchard equipment; grinding and polishing with SpeedFam’s double- and single-sided machines; scribe and break using TLC’s Phoenix scribing machines; precision dicing utilizing Kulicke & Soffa and Disco equipment; frosting and sandblasting employing SpeedFam’s single-sided lapping machines and large sandblast cabinet; drilling with Branson’s ultrasonic drill; beveling by hand and using ultraprecise computer numerical control machinery; and tempering.
