GlucoLight Corp. of Bethlehem, Pa., a company focused on noninvasive continuous measurement of blood glucose levels, has been awarded a US patent for its noninvasive method and apparatus for tissue oximetry. The technique uses optical coherence tomography for measuring and processing reflected light to identify the amount of oxygen present in the blood.
