Group to Develop Hydrocarbon Sensors

Scientists and engineers from nanoplus Nanosystems and Technologies GmbH and from other organizations in several countries are collaborating on the European Union’s “Photonic sensing of hydrocarbons based on innovative mid infrared lasers” (SensHy) project to develop laser-based gas-sensing systems in the wavelength region around 3.3 μm, for use in environmental applications.
