Hannon Named NP Photonics VP

Tucson, Ariz.-based NP Photonics, a maker of advanced microfiber products for sensing and scientific applications, has named Terry Hannon as vice president of marketing and sales. Hannon most recently served as executive vice president of XSiL, where he was responsible for marketing, sales and corporate strategy. Previously, he was vice president and general manager of the Solid-State Laser business unit at Coherent Inc. He received his honors degree in physics and his master's in optoelectronics from Queen's University, Belfast, Ireland. He also received his MBA at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
