Hendel Joins SPI Lasers as Sales VP

SOUTHAMPTON, England, Dec. 20, 2017 — Fiber laser manufacturer SPI Lasers Ltd. has appointed Richard Hendel as its vice president of sales.

Richard HendelThe role is tasked with ensuring sustainable growth across the company’s range of industrial pulsed- and continuous-wave fiber lasers. Hendel will be responsible for leading a global sales team and ensuring customer support. With sales experience gained across the globe in a variety of technical roles, he brings more than 20 years of expertise.

“I am delighted to be leading SPI Lasers’ global sales team and am looking forward to working with them to grow our sustainable sales volumes whilst simultaneously offering outstanding support to all our customers,” Hendel said. “I am confident that together we can realize the fantastic potential and opportunity in this area for us to deliver significant benefits for our people, our company and, most importantly, our customers.”


Most recently, Hendel served as a product line manager for Coherent-Rofin and previously held sales management positions since 1996 for a variety of Rofin companies in Germany, the U.S. and China.
