CHICAGO, Ill., June 19 -- Holocom Networks, a provider of patented 'final 300 feet to the desktop' communications infrastructure solutions, and Kimball International, a provider of high quality office furniture, announced a strategic alliance at the NeoCon World's Trade Fair 2001 in Chicago this week.
Holocom and Kimball are launching their alliance with the premiere of Holocom's Active Gateway solution on Kimball's Reasons systems furniture during NeoCon at Kimball's showroom, suite 1060 in the Merchandise Mart. It is scheduled to remain on display for the next year. Under the agreement, Kimball and Holocom Networks will incorporate Holocom's patented Active Gateway, Passive Gateway and TopRunner systems with Kimball's Reasons, Cetra and Interworks open-office systems furniture.
"Our agreement with Kimball is not only an important validation of our patented distributed LAN, zone cabling and spine mounted communications cable delivery systems, but represents a significant milestone in our sales rollout strategy," said G. Bradford Saunders, president and COO of Holocom Networks. "Kimball customers now have access to the most powerful, flexible and design-sensitive in-building communications infrastructure system available anywhere."
