Makoto Honda has been named site leader and country operations manager of Tokyo-based Melles Griot Japan KK, Idex Optics & Photonics unit Melles Griot announced Wednesday. Honda brings to his new role more than 35 years of experience in plant management, engineering, business development, and sales, mergers and acquisitions. The company announced earlier this year that a new office in the Tokyo suburb of Minami-Ikebukuro had replaced the Shibuya headquarters.
