IPG Photonics CTO Retires: People in the News: 8/21/24

MARLBOROUGH, Mass., Aug. 21, 2024 — Alexander Ovtchinnikov, CTO and senior vice president of fiber laser technology company IPG Photonics, will retire from the company effective Sept. 15. Ovtchinnikov will remain with the company as a consultant per an agreement with the company, which will run Sept. 16 to March 31, 2025.

ANDOVER, Mass. — MKS Instruments, Inc., an edge semiconductor manufacturing solutions company, has appointed Ram Mayampurath as executive vice president, CFO, and treasurer, effective Oct. 14. Mayampurath most recently served as senior vice president, CFO, and treasurer of Rogers Corporation and previously served in divisional financial leadership roles at Royal Philips Electronics from 2005 to 2014.

NEW YORK — All-fiber infrastructure-based connectivity provider Lightpath has added Rachel Stack as CFO. Stack brings more than 25 years of experience to Lightpath, joining the company from Cologix, where she served as CFO. Previously, she was the senior vice president of corporate strategy and development at Zayo Group Holdings and an investment banker covering the communications infrastructure sector at RBC Capital Markets.
