jenoptik.jpgJenoptik Laser, Optik, Systeme GmbH has released its “Optical Infrared Components Product Portfolio.” The 14-page brochure discusses the company’s capabilities, which include individual conceptual design, 3-D modeling, manufacturing IR components, coatings for IR transparent materials, adjustment and assembly, and testing of optical systems. It details spherical and aspherical lenses, IR mirrors, optical hybrid components, diamondlike carbon layers, filters for the IR spectral range, multifunctional IR filters and detector windows, and lenses and optical modules. A table provides a brief overview of data on the key optical materials used in infrared technology — germanium, silicon, zinc sulfide and calcium fluoride.
