DARMSTADT, Germany, May 30, 2014 & mdash; Machine vision firm ISRA Vision AG reported earnings and revenue growth in the first six months of its fiscal year, saying it is on course to reach its goals for the year.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization were € 13.0 million (about $ ), up 14 percent from € 11.4 million in the same period the previous fiscal year.

Revenue amounted to € 44.8 million (about $xxx) in the first six months of the current financial year, up 12 percent from € 40.1 million in the same period of the previous year.

The company said both the industrial automation and surface vision segments grew during the reporting period. The company also said it is seeing signs of recovery in the metals industry.

ISRA services focus primarily on production automation and quality assurance for the energy, health care, food, mobility and information markets.
