Indigo Purchases Software Company

Indigo Systems of Goleta, Calif., has acquired the Applied Technology Div. of Control Systems Research Inc., based in Crestview, Fla. Engineers in the division, renamed Indigo Advanced Systems (IAS), have developed acquisition, calibration, processing and analysis software for IR cameras for more than 15 years. IAS' camera application and radiometry expertise will be combined with Indigo's focal plane array manufacturing technology. Included in the purchase is the RTools software tool kit, designed for scientists and engineers who require radiometric measurements of dynamic phenomena in rapidly changing environments. IAS will remain in its Florida location.
