InfraTec Expansion Reaches Milestone
DRESDEN, Germany, Dec. 5, 2018 — InfraTec GmbH Infrarotsensorik und Messtechnik has completed the shell of its expansion complex, reaching a major milestone in the company’s investment.
The new complex unites two areas: a 400-sq-m cleanroom for the production of optoelectronic components and a 500 sq-m work area. A total of €10 million ($11.4 million) will be invested for this expansion. The project, which also falls under InfraTec’s commitment to the TechnologieZentrumDresden site, will be supported by the Sächsische Aufbaubank with funds from the German Improvement of the Regional Economic Structure funding program.
Construction began in January 2018, with plans for completion in September 2019.
InfraTec is a developer of thermographic measurement technologies and IR sensors, offering IT cameras and detectors.
