Interphase Corp. of Plano, Texas, a supplier of next-generation networking technologies, announced the hiring of Marc E. DeVinney as vice president of engineering, effective Aug. 31. Prior to joining Interphase, DeVinney spent 25 years in various capacities with Alcatel, most recently as director, Mobile Solutions Circuit Core, in Paris. He replaces Felix V. Diaz, who announced his retirement Aug. 27 as vice president of engineering and chief technology officer (CTO). Diaz will continue on as an advisor until Sept. 28 as the company conducts a search for a new CTO.
