Invitrogen, a division of Life Technologies Corp. of Carlsbad, Calif., has received approval from Health Canada’s Medical Device Bureau for its DynaChip human leukocyte antigen (HLA) antibody analysis system. The system detects and identifies antibodies to HLA markers, a process that helps determine compatibility for organ donors.
