JML Optical Acquired by Investment Group
To position itself for continued long-term growth, custom precision optics and optical assemblies manufacturer JML Optical Industries Inc. has announced that it was recapitalized by BB&T Capital Partners, Bob Bicksler and existing management.
Joe Lobozzo, company founder, will remain both a material shareholder and an adviser to the company. Bicksler will assume the role of CEO, overseeing the company’s growth. Gregg Sadwick, Mike McCusker, Valerie Maher, Gerry Lynch and other members of the management team will remain at the company in their current positions to ensure continuity in the delivery of quality custom optics solutions.
BB&T Capital Partners of Winston-Salem manages approximately $750 million in committed capital and is focused on supporting growing companies in the middle market.
