Kayat Joins B&W Tek as Sales VP
NEWARK, Del., April 22, 2011 — B&W Tek Inc. has announced the appointment of Dr. Michael Kayat as vice president of sales and marketing at its headquarters in Newark.
Kayat will lead global sales and marketing activities for the company’s range of optical spectroscopy and laser systems for the biomedical, physical, chemical and research markets.
Prior to joining the company, Kayat served as vice president and general manager at DeltaNu, a division of Intevac Photonics. He has also held positions at Ocean Optics, UTEK Corp. and SMaL Camera Technologies, which was acquired by Cypress Semiconductor.
