Korean Distribution
ShinHoTek has joined SemiNex Corp.’s distribution
network as its exclusive distributor in South Korea. The laser and laser-related
products distributor will offer the entire SemiNex product line of high-power laser
diodes, including B- and C-mount, and chip-on-submount devices, fiber-coupled single
emitters and multichip modules. It also will offer the company’s laser engine,
which was developed for low-cost, high-volume applications in the defense and medical
markets. Based in Peabody, Mass., SemiNex designs and supplies semiconductor diode
lasers at IR wavelengths between 1300 and 1700 nm in a variety of systems and powers.
