LPKF Promotes Two to Lead Interconnects Division, PCB Prototyping
GARBSEN, Germany, Sept. 1, 2015 — LPKF Laser & Electronics AG has named Malte Fengler strategic product manager for molded interconnect device technology, taking the reins from Stephan Krause, who will become sales director for rapid printed circuit board (PCB) prototyping.

An LPKF employee since 2011, Fengler will be in charge of process engineering, feasibility studies, global customer support and applications. He will also oversee existing and newly developed laser direct structuring (LDS) substrate materials and process consulting.
Fengler holds a degree from Hannover University in electrical engineering and radio frequency technology.
Krause will move to the rapid PCB prototyping division in October, taking charge of worldwide sales activities and managing distribution contracts. He has acted as a sales engineer since 2002, supporting the company as strategic product manager in LDS.
LPKF manufactures machines and laser systems used in electronics fabrication, medical technology, the automotive industry and solar cell production.
