Laser Services Inc. announced the promotions of two internal employees, Melida Aizupura and Paul Iria.
Joining the company in 1992 as a production manager, Aizupura will now move to a sales position after working 18 years on the shop floor. Her new position will include developing and overseeing new customers, while maintaining working relations with existing customers.
Iria, who began at the company in 1994, has been promoted from the ceramic supervisor to production manager. Hi new tasks will include planning, directing and coordinating the production floor activities. He will ensure on-time delivery and quality products to the company’s customers, maintain efficient production processes and implement “lean” production techniques and quality control.
The company is an ISO and AS-9100 registered laser cutting, drilling, scribing, etching and welding job shop that specialize in cutting ceramic materials and a variety of other PCB substrates.
