Leica Boosts Growth with a Local Presence in India
Leica Microsystems, a provider of microscopy systems and histology solutions, acquired the microscopy and histopathology business of Labindia Instruments Pvt. Ltd., which has distributed Leica’s products in India for more than 20 years.
The acquisition supports Leica Microsystems’ strategy to expand its operations in India.
More than 130 associates from Labindia transferred to Leica Microsystems to sustain continuity for existing customers.
